So today we ride the #mtabus #sbs12 to Co-op city. While on this route to work I always notice many things one of which is. How people board the bus and exit the bus. Never mind the fact that these new busses are mounted with hi speed mobile cameras. People still try to get on the bus without paying that fare. And with the #mta putting forth a big effort in the Bronx to utilize its security force and the nypd to do random checks. People still try and skip through the system. The same people that wonder why the fare goes up!! Other than politician greed. O yes of course the employees may need to get paid a wage. So where should that come from. And some of the funniest excuses they use when they get caught. Its like you got caught already let it go. The all time favorite I was running late, well now your late waiting for the ticket. Good job!
Well to continue people get in line and rush to get the first seat. Yet they don't realize trying to sit alone when there are alot of people is just not happening. Then you get in and sit in the inside seat when your getting off before the person sitting next to you. But that would have to involve communication. And in nyc that just doesn't happen. No one wants speak to a total stranger or even tell some random person where they are getting off. So I figure that courtesy is lost in this city.
The next thing that happens which is so annoying. Your pushing to skip the person who had been waiting patiently. But you don't have your #metrocard handy. To be more annoying you don't have your coins ready and you have been standing there a for a long time. Seriously let's get it together. I sound like I'm angry but is the experience you get from riding on the bus with no other choice. Im sure many feel the way I do. I just choose to express it. Well I will blog about it every day that I work to see if it sparks your interests. But you are welcome to share and comment if you feel the same. Even if your opinion differs mine.
